I had an AMAZING time at The Heart Truth Fashion Show last night and was lucky enough to sit with the media! This annual runway show is the signature event for The Heart Truth campaign, now in its fifth year raising awareness. Did you know that heart disease and stroke is the #1 killer of women in Canada? We are so busy taking care of others, we are ignoring our biggest health concern. The truth is, we put ourselves last and we always have. By putting our health first and making simple lifestyle changes, we will reduce our risk of heart disease and stroke by as much as 80 percent.
Last night, we celebrated the Red Dress – the official symbol of The Heart Truth campaign. Red dresses exude confidence, strength and wearing one shows courage and passion for change. I was so proud to be part of such a wonderful event for a great cause. It was fun to watch some of our country’s most dynamic and celebrated women come to life on the runway in dresses created by Canada’s top designers.
In my front and centre spot with the media (THANK YOU Grant), I snapped some great photos of the stars. Everyone was smiling, cheering and some even dancing – so much fun for a great cause! Enjoy

It’s a gorgeous dress! My favourite is the one on Jully Black…love the asymmetrical hemline. I also really like the one with the dramatic feather skirt…so theatrical!
