My friends at Ann Taylor are thrilled to announce the debut of the Kate Hudson for Ann Taylor collection for summer 2013. This limited-edition collection of chic, white summer apparel and rose gold accessories was inspired by Hudson’s effortlessly chic red-carpet glamour and her love for classic yet playful fashion.

To celebrate Hudson’s first fashion collaboration, Ann Taylor will host a White Party at Ann Taylor stores nationwide (Canada too) on Wednesday, May 22 from 6-8 pm where guests will be invited to shop this exclusive collection.

Nationwide, Walmart is calling on Canadian shoppers to challenge themselves to make the most of their dollar by shopping the lowest prices and saving. This month, I had the pleasure of participating in the first ever Walmart Frugal Heroes Challenge.

Walmart Frugal HeroesWalmart Canada declared Thursday, May 2nd its National Day of Savings and to kick off the campaign, they invited bloggers from coast-to-coast to find cost-effective solutions for every day budget challenges. I like to consider myself a savvy shopper but sometimes my credit card statement says otherwise – needless to say, I was thrilled to take the challenge to save money.

Yoga Jeans for Every Occasion!

If there’s one thing we ALL have in our wardrobes (outside of undergarments) it’s jeans. Blue, coloured, printed, boyfriend and skinny – there denim for everyone! You can buy jeans for $10 or spend hundreds on a designer pair, but it’s all about finding that quality pair of jeans that doesn’t break the bank! I recently got my first pair of Yoga Jeans by Second Denim Co. and I think I found my new faves! Did I mention they’re Canadian? Love supporting local!

Yoga Jeans are made from a patented multi-directional stretch denim that hugs curves and fit like a second skin – combining the stylish 5 pocket design of traditional denim with the flexibility of a yoga pant. I don’t think I would actually do yoga in them, but the point is, they won’t ride up or down, dig in unflattering places or lose their shape after a few wears and washes. They come in various fits, rises and the widest selection of colours I’ve ever seen. I had a hard time choosing which colour to get, but I decided on Tangerine skinnies – perfect for spring/summer and versatile for various occasions. Here, let me show you…

The first look on the left was an obvious pairing and it was the first time I wore my new Yoga Jeans. This Zara blouse has the same shade of orange in it and the trendy black and white stripes made it easy to tie in classic accessories. I wore this look to work and out afterwards too!
