Today’s Dainty Outfit is another juxtaposition between feminine and edgy, naughty and nice, florals and studs! I found this sweet little chiffon blouse and paired it with leather-look black coated denim, studded flats and gold tone jewellery including a long spikey pair of earrings from MoonRox.

It’s amazing how many people think I’m wearing leather pants in the office today! As if! I wish the coated effect came through better in the photo, alas there’s only so much my iPhone can do! These jeans are a STEAL at Joe Fresh for only $49.

I am definitely on an accessories kick right now.

I usually give my attention (and my pay cheques) to new dresses and shoes, but if I’m going to successfully tame the beast that is my closet, I’ve got to shift my fashion focus to something! So this season, it’s all about baubles, bangles and bags to quench my thirst for pretty things!

Everyday basics are brought to life with colour, mixed metals and textures and my existing wardrobe is transformed with endless variations born from bold jewellery and fun accessories. Online marketplaces like Etsy are brimming with unique options to fit any budget – and this is where I made my latest discovery – MoonRox.

I had a great time at the One of a Kind Show and sale this past weekend! The Direct Energy Centre in Toronto was buzzing with shoppers and hundreds of local artisans selling handcrafted goods.

It’s such a great place for a blogger like me to meet local vendors and explore some great new products!

Some vendors have been around for a while and have found success selling items with larger retailers or better yet, launching their own boutique – while others are just getting started, with online or home-based shops, farmers markets and trade shows. I’ve been going to the One of a Kind Show for years and it’s been wonderful to watch my favourite vendors grow in popularity as the years go by.

You can find pretty much anything at the One of a Kind Show – home decor, furniture, clothing, jewellery, skincare, makeup, gadgets, toys and even food! The possibilities are endless and I always leave with something unique and a new artist, vendor or shop to follow and promote with my friends.
