What beauty product do you experiment with most? For me, it’s mascara. There are a few brands that I enjoy, but I’m always on the lookout for the perfect formula – “The One” – but I haven’t found it yet.
Whenever I bring up the topic of mascara with other women, they usually feel the same way.
Everyday, I employ a lash curler and black mascara before I leave the house and these basic lashes take the most time in my morning routine. Sometimes on special occasions, I’ll use false lash strips for a little extra volume and length, but they’re a pain to apply no matter how great they look.
I tried eyelash extensions at Pretty in the City before my wedding and I loved them so much that I didn’t just have them for my big day, but various special occasions since. I love the way the extensions look and I can definitely get used to not messing with mascara and a lash curler – but ongoing maintenance is expensive and I was concerned about the long-term impact on my natural lashes.
