Coveting: Rebecca Minkoff Mini M.A.C.

Rebecca Minkoff – if you love fashion like I do, you’ve heard this name and most likely covet a few of her designs. An industry leader in casual luxury handbags, accessories and apparel, Rebecca Minkoff’s playful and subtly edgy designs are spotted on women everywhere. A passionate clothing designer, she took a stab at handbags in 2005 and the Morning After Bag (M.A.B.) was born.

This iconic handbag was an instant success and the beginning of a new empire. Next came the M.A.B. Mini and the Morning After Clutch (M.A.C.) among others, as well as the continued success of the Rebecca Minkoff apparel and accessory collections.

For years I spent my money on clothing, with just a smattering of accessories here and there. I never even invested in a quality handbag until earlier this year and it seems I’ve broken the seal on a shiny new accessories fetish! My closet is overflowing with clothing that I’ve quickly become bored with, but accessories give me countless “new” looks and come to my “need new things” rescue at a fraction of the cost.

Back to Minkoff – I’ve been admiring these handbags on eLUXE for quite sometime and when I laid eyes on the 2012 collection, I fell hard for the Mini M.A.C.

Available in a wide variety of classic and bold colours, the Mini M.A.C. Clutch is too cute for words and it’s my latest accessory mega covet! With just enough space to stash your must-haves (lipgloss, cell phone, wallet, keys, and sunglasses), this compact style is the perfect summer accessory and a great way to add a pop of colour to an outfit or try the colour blocking trend. I love the subtle edge provided by the silver/gold hardware, especially the adjustable chain and studded leather strap that can be singled, doubled, or removed for a variety of looks.

With so many gorgeous colours and fun new textuers to choose from, it’s hard to pick just one!

I think I’ve narrowed down my desire to the neon orange Mini M.A.C. with silver hardware. It’s a hot colour this season, but I’ve always been a fan of orange and the way it pairs with neutrals and other bold colours in my wardrobe.
