Dippity-Do Colorpop Hair Powder

Want to try the majestic mermaid hair trend this summer without the long-term colour commitment? My friends at Dippity-Do have the perfect product for you! Available in a wide range of bold, pastel and metallic colours, Dippity-Do Colorpop hair powder lets you get playful without the cost, commitment or expense of permanent hair colour.

Dippity-Do Colorpop Hair Powder

I love my natural sun-kissed blonde (with a little help from my friends at Medulla & Co. salon) for my day-to-day look, but it was fun to play with Dippity-Do Colorpop hair powder during my recent visit to WayHome Music & Arts Festival.

While bold royal blue or hot pink would certainly pop on my blonde hair, I wanted something more subtle, so I decided to try the Blush colour from the Dippity-Do Colorpop Soft Pastel Collection. It was the perfect choice for a newbie like me – soft, sweet and dainty!

I applied the hair powder to a few face framing stands and loved how it instantly added a flash of cotton candy colour – I can see how it would become addictive to add more! I didn’t expect that it would also add great texture and body as well! With a little spritz of LaCoupe Volume Fix Hairspray, my festival hairstyle and pastel highlights lasted all day!

Dippity-Do Colorpop hair powder is super easy to apply with a unique pod that you can swipe across your hair wherever you want colour. It’s not a messy process like some colour-gels can be, but I would still recommend doing it over the sink to catch any stray powder. As a blonde, I’m always a little concerned that temporary colour products will stain my hair, but this was just as easy to wash out as it was to apply!

Priced at just $6.99, why not try them all? You can buy Dippity-Do Colorpop at Walmart stores throughout Canada, ULTA in the US or online at www.dippity-do.ca
