If you’re anything like me, you’ve tried just about everything under the sun to get rid of your acne. There’s some good stuff out there, but I have yet to find something that really creates balance in my skin. The biggest problem I find with treating my acne, is that I can’t find something gentle enough for my sensitive skin. I don’t know about you, but I’d rather have a few stubborn zits than a face covered in red patches!
The first thing I noticed with Dermalogica’s Clean Start Skin Kit was that it didn’t dry out my skin. No red patches! I actually noticed less oil and smaller pores within the first few days of use. My skin felt hydrated, but not oily like it usually does.
Wash Off
I love this face wash. It smells great and lathers up really nicely. In the other acne kits I’ve tried, the bottle of face wash is always empty before anything else. With Wash Off, I still have just as much left as everything else because I only need a small amount to create a nice sudsy lather.
All Over Clear
I like this toner, however, I don’t like the fact that it’s in a spray bottle. I spray some onto a cotton pad and use it that way to avoid getting it around my eyes because they’re very sensitive. The spray is great for a quick mist on the neck though – very refreshing and helps to control shine.
Ready, Set, Scrub!
I really love how gentle this scrub is. With my sensitive skin, a lot of scrubs can be really irritating. Ready, Set, Scrub! is effective, yet gentle. My face feels super smooth after each use.
Bedtime for Breakouts
I must admit, I did not use this daily as suggested. I’m always weary because of how sensitive my skin is. I use it every other day, which works great for me! I love how quickly it absorbs into my skin and the gel-like texture is refreshing to spread over my face.
Welcome Matte SPF 15
I usually don’t wear sunscreen unless I’m going to be outside for long periods of time, but I have been using this every day and I love that it actually helps keep my greasy skin under control. It moisturizes, protects me from harmful UV rays and keeps me relatively shine-free at the same time! If you ask me, this little bottle has super powers!
