Ruffles, pleats and dots…sounds like one crazy Dainty Outfit, but all of these lovely features are built into one stunning green dress! I purchased this dress from Anthropologie in NYC in the summer of 2010 and it’s still one of my favourite dresses today.
I love the ruffled scoop neckline, the vertical pleats from the bust to the waist interrupted by an elegant empire waistband, the pockets and the dotted swiss fabric (fully lined). Most of all, I love this striking green colour! It’s beautiful for spring/summer and no matter what the colour trend of the season is, I can always depend on this green as my go-to, feel good colour!

This dress can be flirty and a little more casual with fun gladiator sandals or simple canvas wedges like I have on today (so comfy for work) or dressed up with heels and an updo – the ruffles go all the way around the neckline and they look A-MAZING fluffed up around the nape of the neck!
I let the colour of this dress take centre stage with neutral accessories and simple makeup – green really complements my fair skin, hair and eyes so I limited any additional colour to my lips with a soft pink – the same Stila Long Wear Lip Colour (in Flushed) that I wore on my wedding day

I absolutely love this dress. Wish it were in a Toronto store right now
I wish I could’ve bought this dress in a bunch of other colours too! It’s so sweet and dainty
