For the official launch day post, I had to style the Always Dainty tank. It was the first (and most obvious) design idea that came to mind when I started this process with eLUXE in the summer. No matter what I wear, whether it’s elegant or edgy, there’s always an element of dainty. To show you how versatile my Connected Collection is, I styled this soft and simple tank two ways…
Always Dainty Night Out
Always Dainty Tank: Dainty Girl for eLUXE, Shorts: Club Monaco, Jacket: Rudsak, Shoes: Le Chateau, Bag: Sneha Varma, Necklace: RW&CO
I love contrasting my always dainty style with edgy leather. This look is perfect for a night out this fall with comfortable yet chic perforated leather shorts and a bronze leather boyfriend blazer. If it’s a little too chilly outside, you can wear tights under the shorts for additional warmth.
This is such an exciting post to write! I’m wearing a tee that (pinch me) I designed with one of my favourite online retailers, eLUXE. The “Canadian Edit” Connected Collection features three of my designs as well as those from six other fabulous bloggers. The pre-sale started last week and ENDS TONIGHT at midnight – you can save 15% using promo code PREORDER15!
Shirt: Dainty Girl Connected Collection, Skirt: Topshop (similar), Jacket: ZARA, Shoes: Nine West, Necklace & Bracelet: RW&CO, Clutch: Sneha Varma, Ring: Rebekah Price
This tee is so me. I work from home and spend most of my day in leggings, sweaters and sometimes pajamas; needless to say, I look forward to evening events so I can play dress up!
Looking for a New Year’s Eve party dress? The ELLE by RW&CO capsule collection launches on November 1st and they’ve got the perfect sequin mini dress for dancing the night away.
The mirror-effect sequin dress ($149.90)
Dress: ELLE by RW&CO, Shoes: Le Chateau, Clutch: Danier
As soon as I saw this mirror effect sequin dress behind the scenes in Montreal, I knew it would be the perfect addition to my (always growing) dress collection.
Summer may be over but fall florals and mixing prints are definitely a thing! Try switching to a darker floral palette for fall or winter; I’m fond of deep jewel tones, especially purple! When I saw this fitted floral pencil skirt at RW&CO. I knew it would be perfect for my fall wardrobe.
Skirt: RW&CO. Blouse: RW&CO. Jacket: RW&CO. Shoes: Nine West, Clutch: BRAVE Leather, Necklace: Stella & Dot, Watch: Caravelle
I love mixing prints, so I picked up this adorable cut-out circle print crop top along with a light bomber jacket with complimentary colour-blocking to go with it! With warm days and cooler mornings/evenings, this is the perfect layered look for the season.
I didn’t even have to see this cape to know that I would love it. My friend Christina from The Style Mogul did a fall fashion segment on BT a few weeks ago and one of her models was wearing a cape – not this one, but a houndstooth one. I immediately messaged Christina to find out where the cape was from and was so excited when she said Winners – for $30! Then she put the icing on the cake and told me there was a reversible plaid cape – hold the phone – PLAID!!!
Cape: Steve Madden from Winners, Leggings: Dutch Blonde, Blouse: RW&CO., Bag: Savannah Wild, Shoes: Le Chateau, Watch: Caravelle, Bracelet: eLUXE, Hat: Club Monaco
I’m loving plaid (or tartan as the Brits would say) this season and capes are perfect for transitional weather – coverage when you need it, but not too bulky or restrictive. You can wrap yourself up tight in your cape, or let it drape loosely over your shoulder – lots of options and even more when it’s a reversible plaid cape like this one!
